A Positive Place for Alameda kids
The Boys and Girls Club Alameda provides the youth of Alameda with a place to go for fun and educational activities during non-school hours.
We offer adult-supervised programs such as sports, fitness, arts and crafts, and recreation for kids from ages 6 to 18, six days a week, 52 weeks a year. We help kids develop character and leadership, find ways to nurture their own well being, and explore educational and career opportunities.
We are the only Alameda facility open to children every day and evening after school, on weekends, and even during vacation periods. And we have been around for 60 years.

Our Dream Center
Plans are underway to replace our small, outdated facility with a brand new state-of-the-art Youth Development Center. Our new Center will provide up to 3,000 Alameda youth each year with the support and services they need to reach their full potential as productive and caring citizens.
